What is an Item Upgrader?
The item upgrader provides players with the ability to upgrade their equipment. To upgrade items, you'll require the appropriate currency and items. For armor and weapons this includes Valorstones and Crests.
There are also enchantments which increase the chance of success for an upgrade. Other upgrades such as Hot Potato Books give a boost to the weapon's stats or permit it to be used in dungeons. These upgrades are typically cash shop items.
Leveling
A variety of sources can be used to increase the quality of equipment. It costs Valorstones and crests to increase the level of an item, based on the kind of item and its upgrade path. Weapons generally cost more than bracers or gloves for example.
It is also possible to upgrade items through acquiring them through the game. Upgrade shards are accessible by defeating bosses at any dungeon. They can be used to upgrade armor sets and weapons and allow them to be upgraded to the highest level. They can only be upgraded once.

The best method to acquire high-quality equipment is to gather lots of materials and then visiting the item upgrader NPCs in each city. You can locate these NPCs by looking for the hammer icon on the map. This can upgrade your gear to the best level available and you can add enchantments that will enhance their capabilities.
